Join us at Crosstown Arts on Thursday, March 13 at 7pm for Memphis’s first view of the documentary Design & Thinking. The screening of this film festival favorite will be followed by a panel discussion featuring local entrepreneurs, innovators and designers with a Q&A on how we can hit the ground running with “design thinking” to better Memphis.

A gift to you from your AIGA Memphis chapter — this event is free to the public.

Design & Thinking is a documentary film exploring the design thinking movement, and its relevance to problem solving across business, culture and society. This documentary grabs businessmen, designers, social change-makers and unlikely individuals to portrait what they have in common when facing this ambiguous 21st century. How are people changing the world with their own creative thinking? How is it applied in business models? It is a call to the conventional minds to change and collaborate. Directed by Mu-Ming Tsai and Pei-Yun Lai, the film was funded through Kickstarter in 2011. View the official trailer here.
