AIGA Community Meeting April

One often overlooked aspect of any successful community change campaign includes the impact of conscious designers like Will Loren who provided the graphic design support for Memphis's recent TakeEmDown901 efforts to remove confederate monuments from public spaces. Come learn more about Will's design for change that helped build momentum resulting in pivotal reframing of Memphis history.

We will also hear from two of our AIGA board members who attended a regional workshop from the National AIGA Diversity & Inclusion task force last month to help make design more inclusive here in Memphis.

If you have a desire to see our community grow and flourish then we urge you to join us. Whether you're new to the area, new to AIGA, ready to get involved, or just curious about what's going on in the Memphis creative community, this meeting is a great place to get started. You, as an attendee, will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas to the conversation and connect with other creatives.
